My God this is good. I think the New York Post is my favourite newspaper in the world. Firstly, the mast head logo: That font makes me excited. And just check out ‘Page 6’… is it me or is James Ellroy (of LA Confidential fame) alive and well and busting whore houses and bothering celebrities on the East Coast? Richard Johnson, you are my journalist hero this week (cracking byline photo too).
I love this turn of the century New York diction, “Police said one woman who worked in the house turned 30 to 40 tricks a night for as little as $30 per.” Legend. I read this aloud every day in a full “I saw a dirty bird on dirty turd and turd” accent, and you can too, by clicking here.
